Alf Tumble, who recently went for a soloride, is probably most known as
one part of the Swedish house duo Sumo. Together with long time partner
Combo they developed a unique, very eclectic Sumo-sound mixing jazz,
afro and latin with deephouse and modern disco. With major releases on
Africanism, Trackmode and Soulfuric and remixes for Compost, Dessous
and Wall of Sound, they created a name for themselves and got a Grammy-
nomination 2006.

While Sumo went more and more eclectic and experimental they decided
to create an alias for their electronic andtechy numbers – Bangana. The
first release was signed by British label C2. Shortly therafter they started
their own imprint Heya Hifi and released most of their music there. The buzz
round the Bangana-sound has now, three years later, made them highly
sought after as remixers and djs. Their crossover hit-remix of Clarisse
Muvemba’s "Roses" found many fans around the world among all kinds of
djs. Forthcoming Bangana material will be relased this spring on labels such
as Nordic Trax, Slip n Slide and Farplane.

Last year Alf Tumble started to write and produce his own stuff. The one and
only ambition was to stay true to his biggets music passion: playing records
(or whatever format that's avaialable) and only produce music that would fit
perfectly in to his dj-sets. First out is a discosounding ep released by on the
UK-conneauiseur label Bearfunk and a couple of remixes. Besides music, or
as a very mportant complement, Alf's living his life in the world of wine. As
